Hello everyone. I hope you're all doing great. Today I am going to share my opinion on a very popular question among athletes or gymnasts etc., i.e., Should We Consume Energy Drinks?

What are Energy Drinks?

Energy drinks are extensively promoted as products that boost energy and improve mental alertness and physical performance. After the multivitamins, energy drinks are the most popular dietary supplement consumed by teens and young adults. Men within the ages of 18 and 34 years drink the most energy drinks, and nearly one-third of teens within 12 and 17 years consume them daily.

Should We Consume Energy Drinks?

Now the question arises is should we drink energy drinks. See no doubt you will get energy if you will drink energy drinks and it heals your tiredness, and so you feel fresh after consuming an energy drink because it has caffeine.

So as you can see it says a soft drink which contains a high percentage of sugars, this is what I want to tell you guys it contains sugar which can lead you to have diabetes and this can also increase high blood pressure which is very harmful. 

The sugar gives instant energy but depletes you of energy in the long term. It generates an insulin response, and after a few months of drinking them, you become hypoglycemic, this means that 2 to 3 hours after the energy drink you desire for it again when your blood sugar is low. That is very good for selling the energy drink, but not suitable for your body. So please don't consume it.

So What is an Alternate to Energy Drinks and What Should I Prefer Instead of Energy Drink?

I will suggest you consume black coffee instead of an energy drink. I understand that black coffee is bitter in taste its 100 times better than consuming an energy drink.

Conclusion

Continued consumption of energy drinks can steal you of proper sleep, mess with your mental wellness, put stress on your kidneys, reduce insulin sensitivity, and decay your teeth. So I suggest you not to consume an energy drink.
