How Failure is the Key to Success?

Hello everyone. I hope you are having a beautiful day. Today I will tell you how failure is the key to success.

Why Failure is the Key to Success?

Anyone afraid of failure and afraid to face challenges will never taste success. Success is going ahead despite the failures and fighting always, but being pleasant.

Can you find a man or woman who has not encountered failure in life?

We cannot go through life without encountering failure. But success comes is the one who dares even after the failure, thinking positively and looking forward confidently.

As infants, if after the first fall, we had never tried again, we would have a world full of people unable to walk. That was our first failure, the first step towards becoming the person that we are now. With that early fall in life, we learned that it's alright to fall. But we don't stay fallen. We keep trying until we learn to walk.

Now that you have grown older, you know that a little disappointment here and slight disappointment there is all part of human life. Even after reading this article, you are going to fail. But now, you will have learned to hold your head high and walk ahead positively in spite of failure.

If You are Ready to Face Failure, you will Realize that Sometimes Failure is Good for you Because:

  •  It provides you the with a learning experience
  • Help you develop further your endurance and stamina
  • Keeps you humble and protects you from being too proud
  • Build character and motivates you to try again
  •  Gives you the chance to learn from your mistakes and to recognize how to do better next time
  • Makes you appreciate success when it happens

Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.

These are the words of Thomas Edison, the great scientist whose life is an encouragement to all youth who want to rise above their failures to success in life. In the year 1914, in New Jersey, USA, Thomas Edison's laboratory caught fire, and the whole plant was burned to the ground. This laboratory which he affectionately called, 'The Invention Factory' was his pride and joy. There was more than $2 billion worth of damage. More than that, most of Edisons life-work also went up in flames. Edison watched the disaster with extraordinary composure.

His own affirmed to the fact that his father watched the disaster calmly, "where is your mother?" his father asked him. "Quickly, go and find her and bring her here, for she will never see anything like this is as long as she lives." This is the attitude we must aspire to cultivate in the face of failure and difficulty.

The following day, Edison began jotting down his ideas for starting again. "Thank God, all our mistakes have been destroyed," he said. "In a new factory, we can start our experiments with a clean slate." And the rest of the story tells us how he went on his pursuit of success.

Live life without fear, face all obstacles, and how that you can overcome them. Take courage from Thomas Edison's example. Do not complain that things are bad. As Phyllis Bottome rightly puts it,

There are two ways of meeting difficulties: you alter the difficulties, or you alter yourself to meet them.

Don't excuse yourself by saying, 'I just don't have what it takes to succeed.' Start using the one thing that's left.  Be persistent, even if it takes a long time!

One day the journey will be completed, your dreams realized, tasks accomplished, and goals reached.

 Conclusion

To sum up what we have seen on failure here is a famous quotation which, though you must have heard very many times, you might want to read once again:

Failure doesn’t mean you’re a failure, It does mean you haven’t succeeded yet.
Failure doesn’t mean you haven’t accomplished something, It does mean you have learned something.
Failure doesn’t mean you’ve been a fool, It does mean you have a lot of faith.
Failure doesn’t mean you’ve been disgraced, It does mean you were willing to try.
Failure doesn’t mean you don't have it, It does mean you have to do something in a different way.
Failure doesn’t mean you’re inferior, It does mean you’re not perfect.
Failure doesn’t mean you’ve wasted your time, It does mean you have a reason to start fresh.
Failure doesn’t mean you should give up, It does mean you should try harder.
Failure doesn’t mean you’ll never make it, It does mean it will take a little longer.
Failure doesn’t mean God has abandoned you, It does mean he has a better way.
